Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Next Move mobile application and this website. By using Next Move, you agree to these Terms.
Description of service
Next Move combines multiple AI systems with a specialist knowledge base in behavioural psychology, social dynamics and negotiation strategy to help you decode conversations and consider response strategies through two analysis modes, Normal and Dark. It provides decision-support and communication guidance based on the information you provide. It does not read minds, does not guarantee outcomes, and is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial or mental-health advice.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Next Move. By using the app, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Acceptable use
Next Move is intended for lawful, respectful and non-coercive communication support, in both Normal and Dark modes. You agree not to use Next Move to harass, threaten, stalk, coerce, exploit or abuse another person, or to upload someone else's private content without the right to do so. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this policy.
Subscriptions, one-time purchases and billing
Next Move offers a free tier, auto-renewing Weekly Pro and Monthly Pro subscriptions, and one-time Standard Case and Deep Analysis purchases, as described on our Pricing page. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective billing terms. Auto-renewal, cancellation and refunds are managed through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Intellectual property
Next Move, the NextMove AI logo and related branding are the property of Next Move and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you submit, and you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service to you.
Disclaimers
Next Move provides informational and decision-support guidance only, in both Normal and Dark modes. It cannot read minds, cannot guarantee outcomes, and does not diagnose or treat any medical or mental-health condition. Dark mode interpretations may be hypotheses rather than established facts. Always use your own judgement and seek professional advice for legal, medical, financial or mental-health matters.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Next Move and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including outcomes of conversations or decisions made using our guidance.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Next Move if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could cause harm to others or to the service itself.
Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence entitle you to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Next Move after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
